The Brazilian broadcaster updates its newsroom with EditShare storage and MAM, capturing everything surrounding the World Cup with Panasonic HPX-370 camcorders.

Editor FlowThe Brazilian channel TV Diário, a subsidiary of TV Globo based in Mogi das Cruzes, has updated the infrastructure of its newsroom with the shared storage system and multimedia content manager Flow de EditShare, thus creating a workflow to offer better and faster coverage of the World Cup.

Comments Romeu Alencar, director of engineering at TV Diário, assures that the World Cup "is located in the highest rank among the most watched world events, and great coverage is a necessity to win votes in this ranking. Beyond TV Diário's television audience, our news packages will collaborate with TV Global affiliates, reaching an audience of more than two million. It is critical that we have the best infrastructure to capture the intensity and emotion of the matches. The TV Diário team is capturing everything surrounding the World Cup using the new cameras Panasonic HPX-370, then editing the material with Final Cut Pro In addition to serving as a content “hub”, EditShare will also integrate with TV Diário's playout systems, guaranteeing the availability of content and supporting critical playout scenarios from the broadcast server.
