TV Diário covers the World Cup with technology from Panasonic and EditShare

The Brazilian broadcaster updates its newsroom with EditShare storage and MAM, capturing everything surrounding the World Cup with Panasonic HPX-370 camcorders.

The Brazilian channel TV Diário, a subsidiary of TV Globo based in Mogi das Cruzes, has updated the infrastructure of its newsroom with the shared storage system and multimedia content manager Flow de EditShare, thus creating a workflow to offer better and faster coverage of the World Cup.

The TV Diário team is capturing everything surrounding the World Cup using the new cameras Panasonic HPX-370, then editing the material with Final Cut Pro In addition to serving as a content “hub”, EditShare will also integrate with TV Diário's playout systems, guaranteeing the availability of content and supporting critical playout scenarios from the broadcast server.
