The executive producers of the film are Patrick Elmendorff, director of the German production company Studio 100 Media, and Jim Ballantine, head of the Australian Buzz Studios, producers of the film. Ballantine has worked for years at the Walt Disney Company on projects such as The Little Mermaid, The Rescuers Down Under y Brother Bear, as well as on Nickelodeon in works such as The Ren and Stimpy Show, for which he was nominated for two Emmys.
The film will hit theaters in September.
