Spanish technology gains weight in IBC

AMETIC coordinates the seventeenth Spanish participation in this edition of IBC with a total of 18 exhibitors occupying a total area of ​​845 square meters.

The technology of Spanish companies is gaining weight and international projection year after year. A good example of this is the strong presence of companies “from Spain” in this edition of IBC. Both in creation, management and distribution of content, there are many proposals that penetrate the international market and that bear the seal of a Spanish company.

A strong commitment to R&D and an effort towards internationalization has led these companies to achieve an important market share in different areas of the industry. AMETIC is, once again, in charge of coordinating the Spanish presence at the RAI Center in Amsterdam.

These are some of the new developments from Spanish companies at IBC 2014:

• Tedial's latest media IT solutions can help broadcasters and media companies around the world manage and package non-linear broadcast content with unrivaled efficiency. Workflow challenges are complex, but the solution offered by Tedial is simple: Find IT, Enrich IT, Manage IT, Publish IT.
• Percon presents its Silver+ cable series for 4K. The Silver+ series of coaxial video cables for digital applications can carry SDI and high definition television (HDTV) formats. Specially created for Ultra HD 4K broadcast transmissions.
• After two decades exhibiting at IBC, AEQ shows new equipment: AEQ Systel-IP, AEQ “AoIP” SYSTEM, the Sonata digital audio broadcast processor and the Conexia digital intercom among other products.
• TTI shows its new portfolio of Ka band products, including BUCs and SSPAs from 5W to 120W and LNBs.
• IBC es el escenario elegido para la presentación del nuevo interfaz de usuario del MAM de VSN, VSNExplorer, que mejora la experiencia de usuario y la operatividad del sistema. El módulo PAM, orientado a entornos de producción, y VSNLivecom, software de playout de estudio, serán también protagonistas en el stand.
• Egatel desvela en IBC2014 sus nuevos transmisores de TV de alta eficiencia – banda ancha de la serie “Wideband‐High Efficiency TV transmitters” y revolucionará el mercado SatCOM con el equipo ‘smart LNB’.
• Cires21 expone C21 Live Control, la solución complete integrada para Live Streaming y C21 Live Cloud.
• Vector 3 exhibe sus últimas soluciones para automatización playout y broadcast: Remote MCR Client, MultiChannel Monitor, Vector Multiplay y VectorBox – All in on.
• Sapec lanza su última gama de codificadores y decodificadores High-End en IBC 2014. Los Altum II están diseñados para ofrecer una distribución de video de alta calidad y cuentan también con la Protección Digital de Vídeo (DVP) de Video-Flow para asegurar la más alta calidad en cualquier transmisión de video en vivo sobre redes IP no gestionadas.
• TRedess presentará la nueva gama de transmisores y gapfillers Fourth Series.

Estos son sólo algunos ejemplos de todos los productos y soluciones que se exponen durante la gran cita del sector en Ámsterdam. Las empresas españolas se ubican principalmente en el hall 8.
