Nely Reguera wins the XI Ibero-American Short Film Competition Spanish Version-SGAE
El cortometraje ‘Pablo’, de la realizadora Nely Reguera, ha sido el trabajo ganador del XI Concurso Iberoamericano de Cortometrajes Versión Española-SGAE. El Premio Navaja de Buñuel a la Mejor Película Española en 2010 fue para ‘La isla interior’, de Dunia Ayaso y Félix Sabroso.
The short film Pablo, de la realizadora Nely Reguera, ha sido el trabajo ganador del XI Concurso Iberoamericano de Cortometrajes Versión Española-SGAE, galardonado con 20.000 euros, que anualmente entregan la Sociedad General de Autores y Editores (SGAE) y el programa de TVE.
The awards ceremony party took place last Tuesday, June 22, in the gardens of the Longoria Palace, SGAE headquarters in Madrid, with Cayetana Guillén Cuervo as moderator, in an event that reaffirmed the commitment of both entities to cinema. 280 works from Spain and Latin America participated in the competition, from which a final selection of around twenty was made.
The winning works can be seen on the Spanish Version program, which will be broadcast next Tuesday, June 29, on TVE. The Canarian filmmakers Dunia Ayaso and Félix Sabroso won the Navaja de Buñuel Award for Best Spanish Film in 2010 for The inner island.
The jury was made up of Manolo Solo (actor and acting winner of the last edition of the contest), Daniel Monzón (director of Celda 211), Mar Coll (director of Three Days with the Family, Last Navaja de Buñuel), Irene Cardona (director of A Boyfriend for Yasmina) and Javier Cámara (actor)

- Casa de América Award for Best Ibero-American Short Film: The second dawn of blindness, by Franco Rosso.
- Aisge Award for Best Male Performance: Pablo Derqui, for Pablo.
- Aisge Award for Best Female Performance: Esther Rivas, for Inter-face.
- Kodak Award for Best Photography: Notes on the Other.
