‘Taboulé’ wins the III RNE Short Film Contest
The work, by Richard García Vázquez, will be filmed and broadcast in a TV film program. ‘Oxígeno’, ‘Looking for a home’ and ‘La solitude de la luna’, finalists in a competition in which 137 short films have participated.
The short film Tabbouleh, by Richard García Vázquez, has been the winning work of the III RNE Short Competition, launched with the collaboration of Obra Social Ibercaja. The film, four minutes long, will be kinescoped and will be broadcast on a Spanish Television film program.
Tabbouleh, the fifth short film by Richard García Vázquez, is a story about secret codes and was the winner among the 137 works submitted.
Oxygen, by Gerardo de la Fuente, Looking for a home, by Mario Lizondo, and The loneliness of the moon, by Javier Marco, have been finalists in this third edition of the contest.
The call opened on March 15 and ended on May 15. The short films that were eligible for the award can be seen at the web of the contest.
Radio Nacional de España has made a preselection of ten films from among all those admitted. Once this preselection has been carried out, with the help of the program team from movie A jury composed of the president of the Film Academy, Enrique González Macho, chose the winning short film and the finalists; the film director Gracia Querejeta; the actor Álex Angulo, from April 14. The Republic; Francesc López, director and presenter of We are short on TVE's La 2; and Yolanda Flores, director and presenter of the RNE program from movie.
3. Contest of shorts
The work titled Salsito, a chicken afraid of flying, by Víctor Gil and Sandra Ortuño, and Seven, by Nacho Solana and Luis Miguel Artabe, which tells the story of a man marked by the number seven, were the first two winners of the contest, in 2010 and 2009, respectively.
