'16 weeks' and 'A day in the park', achieve second and third place respectively. 'Happy ending', by Fernando González Gómez, wins the Audience Award.

He X RNE Cutting Competition, organized in collaboration with the General Society of Authors and Editors (SGAE), already has a winner for this edition. The brothers K. and J. Prada They have been chosen for their short film Arrive, chosen among the 114 original and free-themed proposals that public radio has admitted in the tenth call of its Short Film Contest. The work, starring Violeta Orgaz and Raquel Pérez, shows a mother's fight to get her daughter back.

The jury was made up of Joan Álvarez, general director of the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences; Ignacio Armada, Audiovisual coordinator of the SGAE Foundation; Gonzalo Salazar-Simpson, producer and director of the Madrid School of Cinematography and Audiovisual (ECAM); Itsaso Arana, actress; María del Puy, producer; Lluvia Rojo, actress, and Yolanda Flores, director of the from movie.

For the second consecutive year, users of the Spanish National Radio website have had the opportunity to choose their favorite short film among the 10 finalists. Happy ending, of Fernando González Gómez, has taken the Audience Award after obtaining 35% of the votes cast by Internet users. The short reflects, in a comical way, that “romance was always much simpler in the movies.”
