Cinegy updates its solutions to 4K-IP environments

Cinegy updates its solutions aware that video infrastructures based on IP Ethernet allow considerable scalability and cost reduction by eliminating the typical switches and cables for SDI.

Cinegy is showing at IBC numerous solutions based on 4K-IP such as Cinegy Multiviewer, Cinegy Route and Cinegy Live, the German company is exhibiting version 10 of these solutions.

Aware that video infrastructures based on IP Ethernet are becoming popular among broadcasters seeking to reduce costs and prepare for new formats such as 4K, Cinegy has updated its line of solutions to respond to this demand.

Video infrastructures based on IP Ethernet allow considerable scalability and cost reduction by eliminating the typical switches and cables for SDI.

Cinegy Multiviwer v10 will allow broadcasters and post-production companies to monitor streams from satellite, camera sources, playout services and other resources locally and remotely. Among other possibilities, it allows you to decode the streams to view them in customized layouts. In addition, it offers robust analysis and warns of any anomaly detected in the signal. It is also worth noting that it runs on standard IP servers and workstations.

As for Cinegy Route v10, it offers the perfect foundation for building IP-based infrastructures, delivering a centralized directory to discover and secure large volumes of programming streams.

The system supports both 4K, HD and SD MPTS and SPTS streams and offers tracking and stream directory services. It has a very intuitive interface and, in addition, decodes the stream at the same time and place to offer instant previews.

Ciney Route version 10 integrates with all Cinegy tools for switching and routing.

For its part, Cinegy Live v10 allows modern broadcast infrastructures to respond to the demand for mixing and cutting professional broadcast formats and sources.

The system allows simple drag and drop of sources for preview or airing. It has an external audio input for line-in or voice-over microphones. It is worth noting that Cinegy Live v10 is capable of up-converting or down-converting HD or SD material in real time. Both inputs and outputs can be mixed between 4K / SDI / HDSDI / File / IP sources.
