Panasonic simplifies the collection of news with the AJ-PX800
The new 2/3 shoulder camcorder barely grief 2.8 kilos and incorporates three MOS sensors.
With a weight of just 2.8 kilos, Panasonic It now presents the new Cancorder AJ-PX800. Capture SD and HD images and incorporate a complete range of codec, including AVC-INTRA and AVC-Long G (50/25/12/6 Mbps).
The image quality and speed of the recorded data can be selected from the highest quality to AVC-Proxy for distribution of content based on network and offline edition.
In terms of connectivity, this camera accepts LAN cable networks, wireless LAN, and 4G/LTE networks. You can send data directly to a network server through FTP, allowing televisions to immediately edit recorded images. In addition, it is able to send by streaming images that allows a live streaming while the images are recorded in a memory card.
Andre Afferan, director of the Camera de Panasonic Division, stressed that “the camera incorporates a standard LAN/Ethernet port for cable network connections, as well as an optional wireless function. These connections allow the use of functions such as the proxy preview and the remote control of the camera from a PC, a MAC, a tablet or a smartphone. It also offers 4G/LTE network connectivity. Issuers can edit the data recorded on the spot and accelerate the dissemination of news, as well as additional capacity for live transmission ”.
The network workflow tests for news collection began last month in collaboration with Independent Television News (ITN), a British first -line chain, and will continue periodically with associated stations in countries around the world.
AJ-PX800 will be marketed together with the new AJ-PG50 portable camera, which allows two codec recordings and includes two micro P2 card slots and a P2 card slot.
