The Paris-based post-production company chooses Quantel to implement intuitive workflows.

Écler GroupÉclair Group, laboratory and post-production company based in Paris has invested in Quantel Pablo Rio to improve its finishing services.

Annually, Éclair Group post-produces more than fifty feature films, such as The Past o The prime of life y Jappeloup, one hundred short films, eighty hours of fiction for television, twenty-five hours of documentary films... in addition to countless spots and trailers.

The company was founded in 1907 as a film laboratory, later moving into advertising post-production back in the 1980s. In 2000, Éclair Group was one of the first post-production companies to implement 2K color correction, offering the first high-level digital post-production services for cinema.

Thierry Beaumel, production director and Laurent Nikolli, technical director of Éclair Group, acknowledge that they are excited "to welcome Quantel technology to Éclair. Pablo Rio will allow us to carry out the highest quality finishing with an intuitive workflow on a system innovator."

For his part, Quantel's sales director, Martin Mulligan, was delighted that "Éclair Group has chosen Pablo Rio to boost its post-production services. Pablo Rio offers Éclair the latest in post-production workflows, increasing efficiency and encouraging greater creativity."
