Derek Bond, new head of the Content Division of Imagina US
Former senior executive vice president of Telemundo Studios and founder of Bond Entertainment, he will be in charge of all content and productions for Imagina's North American subsidiary.
Derek Bond has joined Imagina US's management team as President and CEO of the company's content division. Bond, former senior executive vice president of Telemundo Studios and founder of Bond Entertainment, will be in charge of all original content and productions for Imagina's U.S. subsidiary.
Bond has twenty years of experience in the audiovisual industry and has been part of the management team of Telemundo Studios (division of NBC Universal), occupying since 2008 the position of Senior Executive Vice President and Network Broadcast Operations, where he was responsible for the supervision of all Telemundo Studios productions in the United States and Latin America. among which The Queen of the South, Where is Elisa and Doña Bárbara. He also created and produced the first scripted series of Mun2, RPM Miami, and oversaw the network's entertainment programs, including Imagina US programs such as 12 Hearts, Case Closed and Billboard Music Awards.
In January 2012 he created Bond Entertainment, where he worked closely with RTI Productions (Colombia) and served as executive in charge of the production of The Black Widow for Televisa and Unimas.
