Sergio Calderón, responsible for Mediaset's thematic channels for 13 years, new director of TVE

RTVE has decided to recover in its organizational chart three years later the position of director of Spanish Television, which will be occupied by journalist Sergio Calderón, formerly responsible for the thematic channels of Mediaset Spain and recently responsible for content and innovation of Manufacturers Studio ('It's not like we were shhh').

With a degree in Journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid and a master's degree in marketing and commercial management from ESIC Business School, Sergio Calderón (Madrid, 1978) is specialized in programming, research, marketing and production and, always in the words of RTVE, he has a strategic and creative vision of the entertainment industry.

Calderón led the thematic channels Divinity, Energy y Be Mad at Mediaset España for thirteen years, between 2011 and 2024, where he promoted innovative entertainment projects, adapted to trends, audiences and formats. Previously, in 2005, he was part of the founding stage of Cuatro en Prisa, a network in which he was head of programming, audience research and content until 2011.

Since June of this year, he has been director of content, innovation, marketing and communication for the production company. Manufacturers Studio.
