AMC Networks launches Microcanales, a free application with programs from its 14 thematic channels
Microcanales is a free, universally accessible app that will allow you to enjoy three programs a month from each of the 14 AMC Networks thematic channels.
AMC Networks International Southern Europe launches the app in Spain Microcanales, a permanent, free and universal access service in which you can enjoy three programs a month from each of the 14 thematic channels of the company.
With Microcanales, users will be able to see a varied sample of AMC Networks' best thematic channels, from episodes of AMC or SundanceTV series; to films from Canal Hollywood, DARK or Somos; History or Odyssey documentaries; Canal Panda children's programs; or self-produced content from Canal Cocina and Canal Decasa. Without forgetting the great diversity of formats of the television channels Blaze, Crimen + Investigation, XTRM and Sol Música.
Eduardo Zulueta, president of AMC Networks for Southern Europe and Latin America, points out that "we launched this initiative in Spain to increase awareness of our brands and bring the offer of pay television closer to the 60% of households that are not yet subscribed to this type of service. We are delighted to be able to offer any user a small sample of the variety and quality of our channels, present on the main pay television platforms: Movistar+, Vodafone TV, Orange TV, Grupo Euskaltel and local operators.”
La app se podrá descargar en iOS o Android, en cualquier tipo de dispositivo móvil. Sin librerías ni buscadores, la aplicación tiene una estructura sencilla, intuitiva y fácil de usar; sólo habrá que descargar la app y pulsar sobre cada uno de los vídeos disponibles. Los contenidos tendrán una vigencia de treinta días, tras los cuales serán sustituidos por nuevos programas.
