Light Iron and Quantel achieve unique 6K quality in 'Perdida (Gone Girl)'

Pablo Rio and Genetic Engineering 2 achieve the world's first 6K digital intermediation workflow.

Hollywood post-production company Light Iron has used the finishing and color correction system Quantel Pablo Rio for the world's first 6K post-production. The chosen work has been director David Fincher's thriller film, Perdida (Gone Girl).

Light Iron cuenta con cuatro sistemas de Pablo Rio en Los Ángeles y otros dos en Nueva York.

Filmada en 6K con RED Dragon EPIC, Girl Gone es la tercera película de David Fincher. Light Iron se ha encargado de toda la postproducción tras intervenir en La Red Social y The men who didn't love women. The film, an adaptation of Gillian Flynn's 2012 novel, tells the story of a writer (Ben Affleck) who becomes a suspect when his wife (Rosamund Pike) disappears.
