Broadcast Group: highest quality production with the best quality-price ratio thanks to the latest technology
Starting from pillars such as offering the best quality-price and special customer service, this company from Salamanca has become a benchmark in the sector, offering its services both throughout Spain and in Southern Europe.
More than fifteen years ago, it was born Broadcast Group, a service-oriented company specialized in audiovisual production and services. Starting from pillars such as offering the best quality-price and special customer service, this company from Salamanca has become a benchmark in the sector, offering its services both throughout Spain and in Southern Europe.
As José Luis González, director of Grupo Broadcast, highlights, "our objective is always not to generate problems, but to offer solutions to our clients. That is why they repeat. On the other hand, being small and being physically located in a medium-sized city has advantages since it allows us to be flexible and adjust expenses as much as possible so as not to have to pass them on to our clients. However, we continually provide services throughout Spain and occasionally we also move teams to cover events in neighboring countries."
González also recognizes that one of the keys to Grupo Broadcast's success and the reason for its competitiveness is the constant renewal of its equipment and its clear commitment to technology. "We don't want to be a museum! That's why we constantly renew our equipment even if it still has useful life left. In this way we ensure that we optimize resources, offering the highest quality and with a versatility that only the latest technology can offer," he assures.
Thanks to its technological commitment and the high qualification of its staff who offer a personalized service 24 hours a day, this group has earned the trust of numerous national and regional television stations, service companies and production companies.
Broadcast Group is made up of two divisions: Broadcast Productions, which offers services such as content production for television or corporate in both HD and 4K, mobile unit rental, DSNG, Internet Everywhere or streaming of live events; and Broadcast Audiovisual Services, dedicated to turnkey audiovisual integration projects such as the launch of corporate televisions, press rooms or audiovisual installations for architectural or museum environments.
For all these services and projects they have the necessary technology to carry out any audiovisual production, with their own equipment, which allows them to adjust budgets to the maximum.
Broadcast Producciones has a mobile unit designed from a concept of maximum versatility capable of covering any type of event, with the optimal quality required and an unbeatable quality-price ratio. For this reason, its installation was carried out in a light and reinforced box with a surface area of 4.40 x 2.20 meters, mounted on a light, fast and agile vehicle of just 3.5 tons.
Despite such small sizes, its interior is divided into two areas that help coordinate and perform work more effectively.
The unit has a 12-input HD-SDI mixer (Ross CrossOver), seven cameras Panasonic with optics (58x, 17x, wide angle), camera control / Tally, 3Play 425 video server 4 inputs and 2 outputs from NewTek), 40 x 40 HD-SDI matrix, Multiview on 80” screen, a AJA Kipro 500 GB x2 SD/HD, two Panasonic AJ-HPM 110 SD/HD multipurpose recorders, two Mac stations (FCPX /CG), one digital table Yamaha DM 1000 (with 26 channels 8 buses, 8 aux and 18 outputs), audio encoder AEQ ISDN-IP (2 channels) and Yamaha MSP3 listeners.
In order to offer live satellite transmission services, Broadcast Producciones offers the market a state-of-the-art DSNG with SD and HD transmission capacity. Configurable in three ways, the unit allows the creation and sending of up to 3 camera signals using compression in MPEG-2 (up to 12 MHz) and MPEG-4, achieving maximum quality with minimum bandwidth (4.5 MHz) with the latter format.
Furthermore, by having modulation in DVB-S and DVB-S2, this DSNG offers great versatility both from the point of view of applications and locations of action (it has its own generating set), being approved by the main satellite operators such as Hispasat, Eutelsat, Intelsat, or Hellas Sat...
As an example of its unique position as providers of this service, it should be noted that Broadcast Producciones is the only company that offers the possibility of making a direct uplink from Spain and France to the American Amazonas satellite.
For 4K Ultra High Definition productions, the company from Salamanca has a Sony F55 4K CineAlta. The camera, for rent with an operator, can have additional equipment such as an AXS-R5 F Series recorder, 0.7” Sony OLED viewfinder, optics Canon Cine 30-105 mm T”2 PL, Matte Box 4×4 FC complete, follow focus step 0.8, fiber tripod Sachtler Cine 30 HD and all types of memory cards for storage of material.
With this comprehensive service scheme, the television, film, advertising or corporate or institutional video producer enjoys the peace of mind of having all the necessary equipment and having the experience of an expert operator in the always complex world of 4K capture.
The F55 is currently being used in the production of a documentary about the Casa Lis Museum of Art Nouveau and Art Deco in Salamanca.
Streaming and low cost production
In terms of streaming for both specific events and TV channels, Broadcast Producciones has extensive experience and cutting-edge equipment with the possibility of broadcasting from an ENG equipment, or carrying out a low-cost SD/HD production (up to 3 cameras) or from its HD mobile unit with up to 7 cameras.
Two examples of their good work in this field can be found in the Internet television of the Junta de Castilla y León, which they manage, produce and distribute with 24-hour programming, or the web TV of the Official College of Physicians of Salamanca from where therapeutic news is offered to health professionals.
Following its philosophy of saving its customers headaches, it offers the streaming service without limiting the number of connected viewers.
Broadcast Productions offers its clients seven ENG equipment available anywhere in Spain or Southern Europe equipped with cameras Panasonic AG-HPX 372, wireless microphones, MacPro edition and contribution possibilities from 3G and 4G networks.
Finally, highlight an interesting service offered by this audiovisual group: occasional satellite Internet. From a light vehicle, it offers its clients immediate access to the Internet with a bandwidth of between 6 and 20 Mbps. with coverage in 100% of the territory. Whether for emergency situations, streaming live events with satellite uplink, or simply for data access in remote places without Internet access, this unit allows a high-speed broadband connection.
