Arcam TV: complete robotics, easy and quick to transport and assemble

Crosspoint mostrará el 10 de diciembre en Madrid todas las posibilidades que brinda la innovadora solución ArcamTv para automatización de movimientos en captación con brazo robótico articulado.

El próximo miércoles, 10 de diciembre, Crosspoint organiza una jornada en Madrid en la que, además de mostrar las últimas novedades de Grass Valley en cuanto a producción de directos tanto para estudio como para unidades móviles, se exhibirán las posibilidades que brindan los sistemas robóticos Arcam desarrollados por Areplus.

En la jornada organizada por Crosspoint los profesionales podrán comprobar de primera mano todas las posibilidades que brinda el sistema Arcam Tv.

Esta innovadora solución es operativa con numerosos sistemas de captación aunque en el caso de la jornada en Madrid podrá verse junto a la cámara compacta LDX de Grass Valley.

Infinite possibilities

The Arcam Tv system is made up of four parts. On the one hand, the articulated automated arm itself, and on the other hand, the control software, the human-machine interface and a series of accessories depending on the purpose to which it will be dedicated.

The software (Arcaptur) offers to record and edit all types of movements of up to eight robotic arms. In addition, it takes into account other elements on the filming set that could limit the robot's movements or the peculiarities that a virtual studio with real-time production might need. Movements can be imported and exported from 3D programs such as Maya, 3DS Max or Cinema 4D.

The Arcam TV software allows you to record up to 300 movements per robot and per program, all of which can be programmed as a loop. These movements can range from one second to ten minutes.

Regarding the man-machine interface, the system has two joysticks, three positions, three encoders, eight selection buttons, and can be used both for programming movements and for manual control of the system.

Among the accessories that the manufacturer offers are a dolly, a lens control system with an external motor, and a radar to prevent accidents when used in spaces with public or with moving objects.

The system is already being used by some broadcasters such as the Canal+ France subsidiary, iTele.
