New Master in Cinematographic Projects from ECAM

The Master is aimed at screenwriters with demonstrable training or experience who want to develop and promote their film projects.

Master in Film Projects from ECAM

ECAM, together with Avalon, launches a new master's degree of 255 teaching hours and in-person executive hours on Fridays from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Master is aimed at screenwriters with demonstrable training or experience who want to develop and promote their film projects.

For this project, ECAM has the support of Avalon, one of the most prominent and dynamic producers and distributors on the national scene (10,000 Km, Everyone is Dead, Magical Girl, The Hidden Face, God help the girl...) and with film professionals such as David Muñoz (The Devil's Backbone, The Possession of Emma Evans), Verónica Fernández (The ball, Ishmael), Diego San José (Eight Basque surnames, Pagafantas), Alejandro Hernandez (Cannibal, All women) and Pablo Remón (Casual day, Five square meters) who will participate as teachers and tutors of the projects.

A committee of experts will select 15 fiction film projects in the treatment or script phase for development throughout the master's degree. For 7 months, the selected students will work under the supervision of the production company Avalon, the tutors assigned for each project and the master's coordination team.

In parallel, the master's degree will offer academic sessions articulated in masterclasses and highly practical workshops focused on their application in projects.

Cada uno de ellos se someterá a 3 sesiones de pitching. Al término del último la productora Avalon elegirá el proyecto que continuará desarrollando a la finalización del máster. El autor del guión elegido recibirá, independientemente de su rodaje o no, un primer pago de 15.000 euros. Además continuará trabajando en el desarrollo del mismo junto a Avalon con vistas a que este se convierta en película.

La ECAM mantendrá también su compromiso con el proyecto facilitando a la productora sus instalaciones y equipos para incentivar su rodaje definitivo.

If the production company manages to close the financing of the film, the author of the script will receive a second payment worth another 15,000 euros.
