Jeff Berlin apostará por Cartoni para sus proyectos de cine

To achieve this, I paired the ARRI Alexa 35 camera with the new Cine version of the Focus 22 head. I am very happy with this experience. I am very satisfied with the integration of the ARRI standard plate on the tripod and with the versatility and stability it offers. The Focus 22 system is a great fit for the weight required for the Alexa: having the ability to reach the maximum weight range is beneficial.”

Berlin also credits his tripod Cartoni SDS 100mm Two-stage CF and to Smart Lock MLS for helping adaptarse fácilmente a los cambios en set: “El trípode y el spreader Cartoni son ligeros, rápidos y fáciles de manejar. No es la primera experiencia de Berlin con Cartoni: “Conocí Cartoni en proyectos anteriores y por amigos que también usan el equipo de la compañía. En 2018, rodé un cortometraje con la cabeza fluida Focus 22, y fue después de ese proyecto cuando me planteé adquirir mi propia cabeza fluida y sistema de trípode Cartoni”.

Tras la experiencia en este rodaje para Genlux, Berlin ha manifestado su intención de emplear este sistema en todo tipo de rodajes cinematográficos.

Focus 22 Cine, SDS 100mm CF y Smart Lock MLS

La cabeza fluida Focus 22 Cine es definida por Cartoons como la “respuesta definitiva” a las necesidades de los cineastas sofisticados que utilizan paquetes ligeros de hasta 22 kg. Representa la solución más avanzada de la línea Focus, con la configuración de contrapeso ajustable «wing» patentada por Cartoni y un sistema de amortiguación de fluidos patentado y variable en los movimientos panorámico y de inclinación. Seis tubos telescópicos de fibra de carbono de triple capa cruzada proporcionan al trípode SDS una “extraordinaria rigidez” a la torsión, convirtiéndolo en la “solución más vendida” para la creación independiente de contenidos y el trabajo documental.
