Iro Pictures will develop its next projects with Autodesk Shotgrid

Trigital has provided the solution Autodesk Shotgrid to the Canarian company Iro Pictures, specialized in animation and VFX.

Autodesk Shotgrid, creative project management software and review tool for film, television and games, will be used by Iro Pictures to improve team communication, optimize internal processes and reduce project execution time. The Autodesk solution unifies production management, as well as the creative process, to “increase the effectiveness and productivity” of the studies.

Thanks to the implementation of Autodesk Shotgrid, Iro Pictures has optimized project management and has a solution for assign each part of the work to a team or person, manage the deadlines of the orders y perform reviews. Ignacio Caicoya, founder and VFX supervisor of Iro Pictures, explains how the company's first steps with the software are going: "For us, the most notable thing about this solution is the ease it offers in terms of communication, whether we need feedback from the client or if it is an internal correction. It helps us keep the entire team updated at all times, even those who are teleworking. We are using it for everything related to the project: tasks, versions, annotations, play in screening room... Now we want implement it in the pipeline to be able to publish the shots directly.”

In addition to its applications in the workflow, Iro Pictures highlights the agility que ofrece Autodesk Shotgrid. Actualmente, Iro Pictures (The Head, V-Rising) está empleando esta solución en la producción de Second Law, un corto animado con temática y atmósfera espacial.
