Focusrite launches Clarett, a complete range of Thunderbolt audio interfaces

Its new range of Clarett audio interfaces has state-of-the-art Thunderbolt connectivity that ensures minimal latency values ​​of 1 ms.

Coinciding with NAMM 2015 (Anaheim, California), Focusrite has introduced a new series of professional quality interfaces.

After the success of USB and Firewire audio interfaces with the very popular Scarlett and Saffire series respectively, the British company is now launching into the Thunderbolt-based solutions market with the Clarett series.

Its new range of Clarett audio interfaces has state-of-the-art Thunderbolt connectivity that ensures minimal latency values ​​of 1 ms.

Another of its advantages is its 24-bit resolution and sampling rate of up to 192 kHz.

The Clarett series preamps are based on Focusrite's legendary ISA preamps, providing the exceptional clarity and distinctive sound for which Focusrite has become renowned.

The new Claretts offer the highest dynamic range among interfaces in their class: 116dB A/D and 118dB D/A.

Focusrite's proposal features expandable connectivity through ADAT, high-precision signal meters, and MIDI I/O connectivity

Initially, the Clarett range will be made up of the Clarett 2Pre, Clarett 4Pre, Clarett 8Pre and Clarett 8Pre X models. Their marketing is scheduled for spring/summer.
