Sixty companies will participate under the umbrella of SETSI at the Mobile World Congress
Telecommunications, cybersecurity, software, application development or digital content are some of the subsectors to which the participating Spanish companies direct their activity.
From March 2 to 5, the international Mobile World Congress event will be held in Barcelona, the opening of which will be attended by the Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism, José Manuel Soria.
One of the highlights of this crowded fair, which concentrates the latest trends in devices, applications and mobile content, is the Spanish Pavilion. Its organization is the responsibility of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, through the Secretary of State for Telecommunications and the Information Society (SETSI) and the public entity Red.es. A space that will allow a total of 60 Spanish companies in the ICT sector to present their products and come into contact with potential clients and investors.
The pavilion has an area of 650 square meters and is divided into an area for networking and presentations, and a large stand area. This last space brings together a total of 40 Spanish companies. Another 20 companies will also use the presentation area to publicize their offer.
Within the framework of the Mobile World Congress, the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism wanted to collaborate with Marca España to highlight the potential of the technology sector and the innovation of our companies. For this reason, the activities that Marca España will carry out in Barcelona coinciding with the fair will also have a leading role in the pavilion.
El Mobile World Congress representa una valiosa oportunidad para difundir al mundo el grado de avance de la tecnología que se desarrolla en España y generar negocio. Telecomunicaciones, ciberseguridad, software, desarrollo de aplicaciones o contenidos digitales son algunos de los subsectores a los que las empresas españolas participantes orientan su actividad.
