Imagine Lanza Platinum VX, its new configurable matrix from 16 × 16 to 288 × 288
The latest incorporation to the Platinum line is a medium -sized matrix, with advanced density, high reliability, and low cost per port.
Imagine Communications He has announced the launch of its digital matrix Platinum VX. With the possibility to erute up to 288 × 288 signals, Platinum VX represents the latest innovation in its popular Platinum line with high reliability and with totally redundant routing HD signals, SDI and 3 GB/s.
Glenn Lebrun, Vice President of Imagine Product Marketing, argues that “Imagine's matrices have become a reference point for the Broadcasr community, and this new strategic addition to the Platinum family extends the reliability of the platform for more compact environments. Both for mobile units with spaces reduced to complex multichannel operations, Broadcasters need more and functionality.
The Platinum VX design comes to replace the Panacea compact line, offering twice the density in half the price per port. This digital video matrix incorporates the latest equalization and reclocker technologies to offer a high quality and reliability of the signal in all signal formats.
With four plot sizes ranging from 16 × 16 to 288 × 288, Platinum VX is a simple and profitable solution that supports routing requirements of any size and includes an independent version of the Magellan control system. In addition, it is fully compatible with all Magellan remote control panels. Platinum VX can also be part of a larger routing system using a Magellan SDN Orchestator dedicated control system for the management of base bands in base band and hybrid IP.
