AEQ-Kroma debuts Alio portable codec and Crossnet intercom matrix at NAB 2015
AEQ reinvents the concept of portable audiocodec with IP connectivity to make it easy to use in the most varied scenarios, although it has been designed specifically for sports broadcasts.

Although the basic use of Crossnet is as a high-performance digital intercom matrix, its audio has the high quality required to be broadcast on radio or television. It incorporates, depending on versions, up to 168 x 168 ports. A total of 128 can be AoIP with Dante technology compatible with the AES 67 standard, which can be conveniently connected via an optionally redundant Ethernet network, using conventional hubs and switches. It also has 12 analog ports, 8 digital and 20 low bit rate AoIP ports with Kroma standard, which allow wireless intercoms, auxiliary equipment and Kroma series 3000, 4000 and 5000 panels to be connected to the matrix.
It also has a local port with a headset and speaker. To provide the system with additional AES/EBU analog and digital audio inputs and outputs, it can be used in combination with Dante-compatible equipment from more than 100 manufacturers (including AEQ Netboxes). It is delivered in versions from 40 to 168 ports. It grows with your needs through the installation of expansion modules. All in a single rack unit. Optionally has a redundant power supply.
As for digital intercom systems, from 16×16 to 1,000×1,000 crossing points like the new Conexia, the Spanish manufacturer offers a complete range of intercom panels for these systems.
It will also exhibit its digital audio consoles AEQ Forum-IP and AEQ Capitol-IP with AoIP features, and associated control system on touch screen, and the new AoIP interface system compatible with Dante networks AEQ Netbox.
