AEQ's Crossnet intercom comes to Türkiye's parliament television

BMM TV, the official television channel of the national parliament of Türkiye, has renewed its infrastructure with TP8000 user panels and the Crossnet matrix of AEQ.

The entire project has been coordinated and executed by Ideapro, local partner of AEQ in Türkiye. The main protagonist of the integration is the compact Crossnet intercom matrix, which has basic IP connectivity based on Dante technology and compatible with the new standard AES 67, which transports high-quality audio suitable for broadcast. Additionally, it has high-quality balanced analog audio inputs and outputs and includes support for older IP panels and interfaces. Extra with telephone bandwidth compressed audio, and for the new Kroma panels with digital audio link.

Thanks to its scalability, ranging from a 40 x 40 system to a 168 x 168 system, AEQ Crossnet can offer a wide type of external connections- Analog, digital, AoIP Dante and low bit rate IP ports. The integration of this variety of connections within the same equipment allows the user to reduce the external equipment required.

Series 8000 in the Turkish Parliament

The intercom system of the Turkish parliament television is completed with the user panels of the serie 8000, which have been designed to achieve the high level of broadcast-compatible audio quality that digital matrix technology Crossnet allow. The audio is digitized and processed 24 bits – 48 kHz, which gives a bandwidth of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and “negligible distortion and noise levels.”

Ease of installation has also been taken into account. For this reason, these devices incorporate a redundant IP port that handles high-quality audio in Dante, compatible with the AES-67 standard. The audio is digitally processed to cancel acoustic echo and automatically level the voice power and speaking habits of each operator.
