The Kudelski group and Google reach a patent cross-licensing agreement

The Kudelski Group offers an intellectual property rights and licensing program that provides its customers and partners with access to fundamental technologies, allowing them to create devices, applications and services that work seamlessly with each other.
"Kudelski is focused on developing licenses and intellectual property rights in the field of technologies related to the audiovisual market. Therefore, our patent agreement with Google will benefit both companies, which will be able to work collaboratively," said Joe Chernesky, Senior Vice President of Intellectual Property and Innovation at the Kudelski Group. “This agreement also validates the important investment that both companies have made and continue to make for innovation for the benefit of consumers around the planet”
For his part, Allen Lo, General Counsel of Patents at Google, stated "we are delighted to be part of this agreement, which will allow us to continue dedicating ourselves to the creation of great products. Google has a portfolio of more than 55,000 patents around the world."
