Digital Peak

Digital Peak, a company based in San Diego (USA) specialized in multimedia solutions, has signed an agreement to acquire International Datacasting Corporation (IDC), technology provider company for radio, TV, data and digital cinema stations.

The acquisition will include IDC's portfolio of products, customers and supplier relationships. Pico Digital expects that once the transaction is completed, the majority of IDC employees will join the parent company.

Ian Lerner, CEO of Pico Digital, said: “We are very pleased to add IDC's product portfolio to our range of solutions, and we are committed to building on our combined portfolio to create a more attractive and comprehensive offering for both existing and new customers.

For his part, Doug Lowther, president and CEO of IDC, believes that “Combining forces with Pico Digital is great news for IDC customers, as they will immediately be offered a broader range of solutions, supported by an even stronger team around the world.”

Thanks to this purchase, Pico will increase its global presence by incorporating offices in the US, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Bolivia, Panama, Taiwan, Japan and the Netherlands, from which it will serve half a thousand clients.
