NEP Group adquiere Broadcast Sports International

BSI provides broadcast quality wireless audiovisual solutions as well as field service for major television networks, sports leagues and other customers.

He group NEP has acquired Broadcast Sports International (BSI), designer and manufacturer of wireless networks and high-tech wireless AV systems. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

BSI provides broadcast quality wireless audiovisual solutions as well as field service for major television networks, sports leagues and other renowned clients around the world. It offers wireless camera systems, wireless audio systems, wireless communication systems and digital technology to receive, decode and distribute images and sounds.

According to NEP, the acquisition is consistent with its strategy of becoming a global leader in streaming services. BSI adds wireless resources to NEP's line of specialized capture services, which includes specialized engineering systems and production solutions from Bexel, as well as specialty camera solutions from Fletcher.
