Ascender16 Analog Way

Analog Way increases its LiveCore series with a new multi-screen seamless switcher, the Ascender 16. This device completes the LiveCore series allowing two, four or six layers to be displayed live.

The ability to be combined with a second unit brings high-end functionality at a similar cost to the brand's top models (Ascender 32 and Ascender 48).

The new Ascender 16 from Analog Way is a powerful Multi-Screen Seamless Switcher scaler based on the LiveCore platform. The Ascender 16 has twelve inputs with forty-two connectors: 6xHDMI, 9xDVI-I, 3xDisplayPort, 12x3G / HD / SD-SDI and 12x universal analog. It can handle any video source, up to 2560x1600, and outputs a variety of formats, including HD-TV and computer formats up to 2560x1600 and 4K. The Ascender 16 is available with full 4K resolution Inputs/Outputs as an extra option.

With this extra option, the device supports 3840x2160 (UHD) and 4096x2160 resolution (native DCI-compliant 4K resolution).

The Ascender 16 includes an independent Dual-Link Preview Monitor output, displaying live images in Mosaic Mode with multiple user configurations.

The product offers multiple screen configurations: Mixer, Hybrid, hard Edge, Soft Edge. In addition to a Native background layer, the Ascender 16 can display up to 2 live layers per output. The Ascender 16 has the capacity to store up to 100 images such as Frames and logos in non-volatile memory.

Layers include shadows, frames, and multiple effects that are individually controlled in time and transition, as well as position and size. The advanced management of the layers guarantees greater flexibility and security: when an output is deactivated, its layers can be added to another output, being able to have up to 8 layers (PIP's) in a single output.

The Ascender 16 can be controlled through RCS Web, an intuitive control software designed specifically for the LiveCore series. For more demanding applications, Ascender 16 can be controlled through the Vertige, a high-powered remote console.
