TVE premieres the documentary series produced by Medina Media in 4K 'El Chef del Mar'
The series has been produced using drones, GoPro mini cameras and Sony and Panasonic Ultra High Definition cameras that capture in all their fullness the beauty of the seas and kitchens of Spain.
For the first time, TVE's La1, Canal Internacional and RTVE.es will show the gastronomic secrets of the Spanish coast recorded and edited in 4K Ultra High Definition.
Medina Media has one of the best units in all of Europe in Ultra High Definition, whose first productions have been selected by Sony to be exhibited at the MIPTV in Cannes among the ten best in the world.
Ángel León (two Michelin stars) reveals to us in this 13×50′ series all the secrets of cooking made with seafood. This format, which portrays the chef's adventures at sea and in the kitchen, has already sparked the interest of channels in America, Asia and Europe.
Every week, chef Ángel León will sail to different points of the Spanish coast to catch the best of each area and then cook it accompanied by some of the most renowned chefs in Spain. In this way we will get to know sea products up close such as algae, plankton, hake, tuna and many others. Products from which we are going to learn many things and that we will prepare in the kitchens of Michelin-starred chefs such as Quique Dacosta, Andoni Luis Aduriz or Pepe Solla, among others.

In the first chapter of the documentary series The Chef of the Sea, León travels to the Basque Country, specifically to the spectacular Puerto de Pasajes, where he will embark to learn about traditional northern fishing.
