Thanks to the Auto Camera Adjustment kit, installation time is reduced and the chromatic uniformity of the images is improved.

In both ephemeral and fixed installations, such as a set, one of the problems that arises when installing a video wall is achieving and maintaining chromatic uniformity between the different displays.

To assist in this task, Panasonic has just presented the Auto Camera Adjustment kit, a management software created to optimize the use of video walls, reduce installation time and improve the chromatic uniformity of images.

This is an optional kit that integrates into the Video Wall Manager software that Panasonic offers free of charge, just like the camera upgrade kit already available for the company's multi-projector software, it allows you to greatly reduce the work, complexity and configuration and adjustment costs involved in the simultaneous use of several screens.

Enrique Robledo, marketing director of Panasonic Visual System Solutions, highlights that until now "installers had to adjust the color and brightness of all the video wall displays one by one using a sensor, which is laborious, requires specialized knowledge and in some cases does not produce completely accurate results. However, after activating the Auto Camera Adjustment function of the Video Wall Manager software, the installer connects a compatible camera, takes a photograph of the video wall and the software analyzes the backlight control and white balance to adjust the color of each panel accurately. The software then automatically adjusts and saves the settings for each display, resulting in huge savings in terms of setup time and costs. Furthermore, if the need arises to replace one of the displays, there is no need to manually recalibrate the video wall.”
