MOG Technologies promises to eliminate the complexity of live streaming

The Portuguese company will present at NAB 2015 a new solution aimed at improving cloud ingestion and live streaming broadcast.

MOGAnd NAB 2015, MOG Technologies will present a new solution that responds to the rise of live streaming needs in digital media. With MXFSpedrail wXtream, MOG promises to eliminate the complexity of live video streaming, while simplifying broadcast workflows, and optimizing the ingestion process in the cloud.

The centralized MXFSpedrail system enables the capture of video and audio on any platform, the management of media content over the web in multiple formats, resolutions and bit rates, and the delivery of the stream directly to content delivery networks (CDN). The system is optimized to work with the leading global communications service provider, Level 3 Communications. Among other advantages, it allows access to a private cloud, reduced signal latency and minimized network problems.

The efficiency of a push or pull model for video distribution also saves bandwidth and ensures content quality.

With MXFSpeedrail wXtream, broadcasters will have a fully centralized capture system, with up to 4 simultaneous SDI channels, as well as local backup of proxies or Hi-Res content for archiving. The system is capable of efficiently capturing and transforming encoded material into multiple production formats, including H.264, at multiple transmission bitrates.

Furthermore, when presented in a team of just 24 cm. In the background, MXFSpeedrail wXtream allows the user to save space by allowing streaming and archiving on the same drive, accessible via web browser.
