Grass Valley to market GV Stratus in two new packages

Para satisfacer las necesidades de los profesionales de la información con presupuestos más pequeños, Grass Valley has announced two new packages in which it will sell its popular GV Stratus solution, including a seamless integration of proxy editing and advanced workflow management.

Mike Cronk, senior vice president of strategic marketing at Grass Valley, recognizes that "there is no one size fits all when it comes to news production. Our scalable approach with GV Stratus to news production reflects our commitment to making all of our solutions 'Futre Ready', but at a reduced cost of entry."

GV Stratus offers an advanced editing system with a wide set of management tools, based on K2 servers, which allows it to cover ingestion, editing, distribution, archiving and backup management... and all of this closely integrated through the MOS protocol with the most widely implemented editing systems. Customers benefit from the power of GV Stratus through workflow automation, ease of use and scalability.

With an extremely efficient proxy workflow, users can edit and move low-resolution material, including so-called wild files procedentes del periodismo ciudadano, y realizar la edición completa campo con Edius XS, incluido en los nuevos paquetes.
