For-A debuts a new control panel for its HVS-2000 mixer at IBC
The new three-block mixer will be on display in Amsterdam alongside GearLin control software that gives users complete system control from a single screen.
On the occasion of his presence at IBC 2015, For-A will unveil a new panel for its HVS-2000 mixer. The new version features a 3-block control panel, and will be shown in Amsterdam with GearLink control software giving users complete system control from a single screen.
First introduced last year at the IBC Show, the HVS-2000 is the latest mixer in America's Hanabi family.
Compatible with For-A's HVS series of mixers, matrix switchers, multi-displays and clip servers, GearLink software users will be able to control all of these devices, capturing and viewing external video or customizing the buttons and screen layout to see all workflows at a glance.
With a design based on practical input from its customers, the HVS-2000 has become an option for a wide variety of production environments. This unit is designed for live events, studios, mobile units, and can work in both SD, HD, 3G and 4K. Allows a maximum of 48 inputs and 22 outputs. It features frame synchronizers on each input, including image capture on any input and upscaling for SD-HD.
Unique Features
The HVS-2000 offers several unique features, including Melite, which allows a traditional AUX bus to be transformed into a functional Mix Effects with cuts, mixes, keys and DVE including a full preview.
Another feature of the HVS-2000 is ONStage, which is designed specifically for organizing events where multiple screens with independent images and transitions are used. Switching mode allows operators to view mix, clean, key changes and DVE with full preview control connected directly to the control fader transition zone.
Another unique feature of the HVS-2000 is FLEXaKEY, which allows operators to add, move, and multiply key and DVE layers like traditional M/E or Melite resources. Using the HVS-2000's Melite and FLEXaKEY features, operators have a flexible 6 M/E mixer, all within an affordable 2 M/E unit. The new three-block control panel is particularly useful for users who want to take advantage of the full ability of the HVS-2000 to function as a flexible 6 M/E unit in their productions.
