Charmex presents the new Christie Boxer 4K30 projector to the professional market

Charmex The new Christie Boxer 4K30 projector is available in its commercial proposal; a high-end system equipped with 3 DLP technology, 30,000 lumens of luminous flux and omnidirectional projection capacity, specially designed for the event equipment rental market, mapping projection, shows, concerts, fixed installations and museums.

A highlighted element in the development of this projector by Jorge Vilaplana, Christie product manager of the Charmex Solutions Division, is “the effort made by Christie to reduce size and weight: less than 68 kilograms.”

In addition, Boxer 4K30 offers native 4K resolution and incorporates the Christie Tru-Life image processor, which supports the highest demands on bit depth, high-frequency image, native 4K and HD signals with integrated upscaling, while simplifying the existing HD signal flow.

Other advantages of this projector is that it incorporates Christie Twist technology to perform image blending and warping functions from one or multiple projectors on curved or irregular surfaces without having to resort to external electronics. “Near Field Communication (NFC) technology allows you to check the status of the system, as well as the operating hours and serial numbers of each lamp, from a smartphone, without having to turn on the video projector,” Vilaplana points out.

The six 450W mercury lamps of the Boxer 4K30 projector ensure a light output of 30,000 lumens in the center, maintaining uniformity of brightness and offering operational security in the event of failure of any of the lamps, which are located in two cartridges that contain three long-lasting mercury lamps (1,500 hours).

Christie Boxer 4K30 has omnidirectional orientation capability, making it extremely easy to install and place in any space. In this way, in overhead, portrait or tilted projections, the equipment maintains its performance and image quality during the presentation.

As far as connectivity is concerned, this projector includes 3G-SDI, Display Port, HDBaseT, DVI-I and HDMI. In addition to the color LCD reading panel, where you can preview the video signal and monitor the configuration parameters, the equipment incorporates a wide variety of lenses and even its own tool box installed on one of its sides.

Professional days with Christie Boxer 4K30

With the aim of publicizing the numerous capabilities of Christie Boxer 4K30, Charmex has organized two presentations, in the format of open days, aimed at the rental professional market.

The activities organized by Charmex around this new projector will take place on October 7 and 8, 2015 at the Madrid offices of the manufacturer Christie Digital System (Labradores s/n, in Boadilla del Monte), while the Charmex headquarters in Barcelona will host these events on October 21 and 22.
