Imagine's SelenioFlex and Nexio range now support ProRes

Built on Imagine's Zenium workflow platform, SelenioFlex File provides a dynamic management environment that provides easy access to features, functionality and licenses required at runtime. Broadcasters and production companies are under increasing pressure to streamline operations and maximize resources and content assets across a variety of platforms to increase productivity and reduce costs. SelenioFlex distributed file processing capabilities enable workflow optimization, with superior flexibility and quality.

The Nexio family of products, for its part, enables shared storage for ingesting and broadcasting high-quality channels aimed at software-based content creation, production, and management environments.

At IBC 2015, Imagine showcased the latest capabilities of its entire Selenio product line, including support for IMF encoding and decoding, real-time and offline encoding in UHD HEVC or HEVC ABR as linear environments, as well as for SelenioFlex Live in virtualized environments. It also demonstrated the Nexio Am server in a shared storage environment with a solution set with NAS as-a-SAN capabilities to easily handle SD-to-UHD encoding and playout.
