The 3DWire Market closes its most international edition

'El Festival' de Cuernavaca in Mexico and 3D Wire formalize a collaboration that will allow both to continue their expansion in international markets.

The seventh edition of the International Animation, Video Games and New Media Market 3D Wire has managed to bring together, once again, a large representation of the best and most reputable professionals in the sector in five days of frenetic activity.

With Poland as a guest country, professionals from different countries and the greatest exponents of the Spanish industry, 3D Wire has also managed to formalize the collaboration agreement with 'El Festival' held in Cuernavaca, Mexico, which will allow it to enhance commercial and development avenues towards the Latin American markets and the Latin community in the United States.

The Director and creator of 3D Wire, José Luis Farias, has been very satisfied with the 2015 edition of the Market "it has been the best edition of all, the most complete. We are very demanding of ourselves and this is the time in which we are happiest," he assured.

"The fact that, for example, companies like King (creators of the successful video game Candy Crush Saga) and other large companies in the sector come to Segovia to recruit talent is something very important for us. We are excited," he says.
Parallel to the Market, the 3D Wire Fest has also been held, allowing viewers to learn about the best national and international animation works in all formats. The large influx of spectators who have packed all the sessions in the Ex.Presa Room in La Cárcel_Segovia Creation Center has been a great boost to the 3D Wire project.

Honors

The jury award for Best International Short Film went to Ernie Biscuit, de Adam Elliot (Australia), “por el inteligente planteamiento de las historias y su facilidad para conectar con el espectador”. Por su parte, Teeth de Daniel Gray y Tom Brown (EEUU, Hungría y Reino Unido) han recibido una mención especial.

El galardón al Mejor Cortometraje Europeo a ido a parar a Le repas dominical de Céline Devaux (Francia) “por el hábil uso de la narración y la animación como un medio para explorar la condición humana”. La mención especial ha sido para Fuligem de David Doutel y Vasco Sá (Portugal).

Amor de Mono, de Paulo Mosca, ha logrado el máximo galardón del jurado al mejor corto español “por saber recoger la tradición del cartoon clásico con una sana irreverencia extrema a la animación española”.
