Christie's laser phosphor projection achieves a futuristic look on TVE's 'Tvemos'
Five DWU555-GS projectors belonging to the GS Series with Christie 1DLP laser diode manage to create an interesting holographic effect in the program's scenery.
The summer program Tvemos Produced by Mediapro for Spanish Television, it used an interesting technique to achieve a holographic effect in the studio scenery. This program has been the first in Spain to use laser phosphor projectors to create this effect.
Tvemos It has had five projectors Christie DWU555-GS supplied by the company BNC Audiovisuals to project a series of holograms that played a key role in its scenography.
Borja González, manager of BNC Audiovisuales, assures that "this is our first experience with laser phosphor projectors and the truth is that we are delighted. They are super quiet, which is essential for the broadcast environment. And not to mention the laser diode that frees you from lamp changes for 20,000 hours, allowing you to pay for the machine much sooner."
Presented by Elisa Mouliaá from Monday to Thursday in the summer prime time of La 1, the program offered surprising, curious and fun images of current events. The public was the protagonist of the program, not only as a spectator but also as a content generator, sending videos and images that reinforced the interaction.
The producers wanted something totally new as a set, something dynamic and outside the norm. To do this, they relied on the expertise of BNC Audiovisuales, a company with more than 15 years of experience, which designed five glass panels with holographic sheets that served to project different graphics with the best color saturation. The presenter relied on these holograms to make her intros.
The five holograms distributed at different points on the set had dimensions of 2 meters high by 2.50 meters wide. The projectors were arranged vertically on each of these panels, projecting the images launched from a server. EVS at a resolution of 1920x1200.
The DWU555-GS is part of Christie's GS Series of 1DLP laser diode projectors, available in WXGA, HD and WUXGA resolutions, ideal for 24/7 continuous operation environments without loss of image quality.
