Avid releases version 12.4 of the popular Pro Tools
The Track Freeze function, which allows you to manage, simplify and accelerate processes in a collaborative workflow.
Avid has released the new version (12.4) of its digital audio editing solution, Pro Tools. Among the new features, the Track Freeze function stands out, which allows you to manage, simplify and accelerate those sessions that use the processor intensively.
Along with the Commit and Track Bounce features included in version 12, Track Freeze will improve workflow.
Freeze allows the DSP resources to be released in real time, allowing the operator to make quick adjustments when they are necessary. If these functions are combined, Track Commit allows you to edit and make changes to clips and choose a digital track; and Track Bounce, used with the stems of the tracks or with the renderings of the outputs for files or workflows, we find that the new version gains in stability and functionality.
