Arca Audiovisual begins filming the second season of 'Cites'

The second season of Cites, produced by Arca Audiovisual (Filmax group) for TV3, has begun filming. The series is based on an original Entertainment One Television International format about couples' relationships over the Internet and is scheduled to premiere in the second quarter of 2016.
Pau Freixas (Polseres Vermellas) returns to direct this season and will have a casting that includes names such as Julio Manrique, Núria Gago, Alain Hernández, Llorenç González, Emilio Gutiérrez Cava, Álvaro Cervantes, Marcel Borràs, Alba Ribas, Marina Salas, Nau Albert, Anna Moliné, Anna Casas and Paula Malia.
This second season will incorporate new characters, new stories that will bring different sensations and nuances to the particular world of online dating: couple fantasies, intergenerational relationships, old age love, double life...
But this time they will not be first meetings. The series will maintain some of the characters from the first season, characters that the viewer already knows. The evolution of their stories will be shown a little beyond where they left off in the previous season. Some familiar faces from the first season will repeat, such as Isak Férriz (Martín), Bea Segura (Blanca), Laia Costa (Paula), Nausicaa Bonnin (Sofía), Júlia Molins (Ona) and Bile Durán (Álex).
Furthermore, Barcelona will continue to be the great stage for Cites, but this time the meetings between the characters will take place both during the day and at night. This will allow us to show the other side of the city and develop new types of appointments in different spaces and contexts.
Accompanying Pau Freixas in direction are Marta Pahissa, Patricia Font, Paco Caballero and Hammudii Al-Rahmoun. The team of scriptwriters is headed by Iván Mercadé.
David Valldepérez is in charge of photography, with Joan Manel Vilaseca, Liana Artigal and Alberto Bernad in charge of editing.
