'Paraíso' (Movistar+) concludes filming of its second season

The team of The Mediapro Studio has finished filming the second season of Paradise, original series of Movistar+ directed by Fernando González Molina.

After the premiere of the first season on the platform on June 4, the filming of the second season started in mid-May in Girona and the Valencian Community. Later, he moved to other communities. Specifically, scenes have been filmed in Begur (Girona), El Perelló (Valencia), Minglanilla (Cuenca), Alcalá de Xivert (Castellón), Sollana (Valencia), Albufera de Valencia, Altea (Alicante), Benidorm (Alicante), Jávea (Alicante), Oliva (Valencia), Bacelona, Canyelles (Barcelona), Vilanova i La Geltrú (Barcelona), Vilassar de Mar (Barcelona), Manresa (Barcelona) and Terrassa (Barcelona). Only a few additional scenes remain to be filmed in Chinchón (Community of Madrid). Post-production and VFX will once again be led by Telson, con Daniel from Madrid in front.

The second season of the fiction created by Ruth Garcia (The incident, The protected, The boarding school), David Oliva (The incident, The protected) and his own Gonzalez Molina will have new faces: Álvaro Mel (Fortune) will play Mateo, Begoña Vargas (Malasaña 32), to Evelyn; Laura Laprida, as Valentina, and Carla Domínguez will play Anabel. They continue Macarena García (Goya for New Actress for snow white), by Iñaki Ardana (Victim number eight), Gorka Otxoa (Pagafantas, Faith of ETA) and the young performers Pau Gimeno (Billy Elliot), Cristian López (The Lion King, Billy Elliot), Leon Martínez (Merlin, Superlopez), Hector Gozalbo (nothing will be the same), María Romanillos (Anti-disturbances, The consequences) and Patricia Iserte, among others.

Synopsis of the second season

"Three years have passed since the events of the first season and another group of Undead, the Novavis, appears in Almanzora. Their objective is to destroy the town in order to carry out their regeneration ritual. The lives of Javi's family and friends and his gang are in danger. Added to all this is another mystery: Javi's true origin, a secret hidden by his parents since his birth."
