'Vis a Vis' concludes the filming of its fifth season in Almería
The production filmed between Madrid and Almería will be made up of eight episodes and will once again have Iván Escobar at the helm as showrunner.
After the beginning of filming in Madrid for the fifth season of Dream a Dream, titled Vis a Vis: The Oasis, production moved a few weeks ago to Almeria to film some of its fundamental plots, as well as a good part of the exteriors that take place in the desert.
He Tabernas and Agua Amarga desert, one of the towns belonging to the Cabo de Gata Natural Park, have been the natural settings where filming took place during the production's stay in Almería. Virtually the entire cast led by Maggie Civantos, Najwa Nimri, Itziar Castro, Ana María Picchio and Lucas Ferraro traveled there along with Claudia Riera, Isabel Naveira, Lisi Linder, David Ostrosky, Alma Itzel, Almagro San Miguel, Pablo Vázquez, Natalia Hernández, Paula Gallego, Jose de la Torre, Iván Morales, Fernando San Segundo, Lolo Diego and Ismael Palacios.
Por su parte, Sandra Gallego, co-executive producer with Iván Escobar, also directs the fiction with Miguel Angel Vivas.
The original Atresmedia series, which successfully closed its life cycle on free-to-air television on Antena 3, began a new stage in 2018 in pay with Fox in Spain, becoming one of the most viewed fiction content on pay in Spain.
Dream a Dream on Fox it had an average of more than 300,000 viewers, expanded to half a million if we take into account the audience that has seen the series in non-linear broadcast, a format chosen by 6 out of 10 of its viewers.
