'Operation Shrimp' concludes filming

The film, directed by Carlos Therón and based on the Italian 'Song é Napule', has been shot for seven weeks in Seville and Cádiz.

Operation Shrimp, the comedy that praises flamenco-trap in Spain thanks to Los Lolos, a band that is booming with its catchy songs, has just completed filming.

After several destroyed cars, two overturned trucks, a guy thrown out of a window 10 meters high, more than a thousand extras and a lot of laughter, this weekend the filming of this comedy ended. directed by Carlos Therón (I leave it whenever I want, It's for your good...).

The film will feature original songs composed by Riki Rivera, winner of the Goya for Best Original Song in 2015 for 'El Niño'.

Operación Camarón was filmed for seven weeks in Seville and Cádiz and stars Julián López, Natalia de Molina, Carlos Librado 'Nene' and Miren Ibarguren, with the special collaboration of Paco Tous. Completing the cast are Antonio Dechent, Alberto López, Julián Villagrán, Canco Rodríguez, Adelfa Calvo, Manuel Burque, Juanlu González and Xisco González.

The script has been written by Josep Gatell and Manuel Burque (It's for your good), from the italian film Song is Napule (Antonio and Marco Manetti), breakthrough film in Italy in 2013, winner of three Donatello awards.

It has a production team in which Art Director Clara Notari (Pain and Glory, Wild Tales), director of photography Sergi Gallardo (The Olive Tree, ThiMai, Heading to Vietnam), Production Director Manuela Ocón (The Plague, The Minimum Island), editor Carolina Martínez Urbina (Regression, Agora) and the head of Sound Daniel de Zayas, winner of the Goya for Best Sound (2009) for three days.

The movie is produced by Telecinco Cinema and La Pepa, with LazonaFilms and Quexito Films as associate producers and the participation of Mediaset España, Movistar+ and ICAA. Its premiere is scheduled for 2020 with distribution by Buena Vista International.
