Knockout is a spy thriller about a young woman, played by mixed martial arts champion Gina Carano, who fights against corrupt forces. The plot develops around her work for a security agent and she will want revenge when she is betrayed by one of her own. Along with Carano, Ewan McGregor, Antonio Banderas and Michael Douglas are also part of the cast. Douglas had previously worked with Soderbergh on Traffic. Scripted by Lem Dobbs (The Limey, Kafka), the film is produced by Gregory Jacobs, a frequent collaborator of Soderbergh, as well as Ryan Kavanaugh of Relativity Media.
