This international Spanish fiction, produced by Atresmedia Televisión in collaboration with Big Bang Media (The Mediapro Studio), has involved more than 1,600 hours of work over 23 weeks, with more than a hundred actors and 3,600 extras.
Lost, the new original series of Atresmedia Television has completed filming after 6 months of recordings that have been developed, mainly, in Colombia.
Produced by Atresmedia Television in collaboration with Big Bang Media (The Mediapro Studio), filming of the series has been carried out entirely in natural exteriors and interiors, with more than 120 different locations. The recordings started last April in Valencia, another of the key points in this story.
The new fiction from the Series Atresmedia label will be broadcast in prime time on Antena 3 and on Atresplayer Premium. It is an emotional thriller that tells the journey of parents who will do the unspeakable to discover what has happened to their daughter. A plot that will develop between Spain and Colombia.
It has been created by Natxo López, based on the original idea of Ruth García and David Oliva. Sonia Martínez and Alberto Carullo are the executive producers of “Perdida”, while Juanma Manzanares and Natxo López serve as co-executive producers.
The series is directed by Iñaki Peñafiel, David Ulloa and Rafa Montesinos, and has had Natxo López himself, Almudena Ocaña, Aurora Graciá, Carlos de Pando and Mikel Barón in the development of scripts.
Daniel Grao is the main protagonist of the story along with Adriana Paz, Ana María Orozco, Carolina Lapausa, Fernando Solorzano, Melani Olivares and Verónica Velásques, who lead a cast that will exceed a hundred actors, from Spain, Colombia, Mexico or Cuba such as Jon Arias, Luis Miguel Hurtado, Juan Carlos Messier, Pedro Suárez, María del Rosario Barreto, David Trejos or Mario Bolaños, among others.
A Spanish fiction of international scope whose chapters will have a duration of 50 minutes, as occurs in all the new productions of the Series Atresmedia label.
In total, the series has accumulated 23 weeks of recordings between Spain and Colombia; with a total of 1,600 hours of work. Between supporting and capitular characters, the series has featured more than a hundred actors of different nationalities and origins (Spain, Cuba, Mexico, Colombia...).
A total of 3,630 extras have passed through the production, of which more than 3,100 participated in the recordings in Colombian territory. For the filming of Lost have passed more than 300 professionals by the different departments.
For the recreation of La Brecha, the prison in which the Colombian plot takes place, more than 1,200 square meters have been needed for its construction. More than 3,200 blank bullets were used to film shooting scenes.
Sonia Martinez, fiction director at Atresmedia, commented that Lost is "a very special series that has been filmed almost entirely outside of Spain and which will have Bogotá and the Colombian landscape as its main setting. One of the characteristics of Atresmedia's fiction is that we like to go beyond the conventional and offer the viewer very different proposals with personality. Lost is going to impact due to its visual power and because it is a very powerful story, with a father willing to do anything to find out what has become of his daughter. It is not easy to carry out a production of these characteristics, So I congratulate the entire team for the level achieved.”
Alberto Carullo, general director of Big Band Media, adds that "it has been a unique and extraordinary experience that has taken us for 6 months to film between Valencia and Bogotá. It has been an exciting challenge to produce this story because in addition to taking place entirely in natural settings and in different countries, it has allowed us to add the talent of some performers and professionals who belong to very different places. The result has been enriching and we believe that it will be a differential, at a time when fiction series have reached a very high value for the viewer."
