The VFX of the second season of 'Paraíso', revealed in Sitges

The technical team of Paradise, series of Movistar+ produced in collaboration with The Mediapro Studio, has given the keys to the VFX of its second season within the framework of the Sitges Festival.

Fernando González Molina (director and creator), Elijah M. Felix (director of photography), Isidro Jimenez (Post-production director of Telson) and the actors Macarena García, Álvaro Mel and Begoña Vargas attended the Sitges Festival to present the novelties of the second season of fiction and to talk about their VFX. Regarding this last field, the Gonzalez Molina He highlights that in this second season they have gone “further and further”, seeking “more and more powerful images and more complicated effects”.

Isidro Jimenez specifies the words of the director and creator of the fiction: "In T1 we created the disco in 3D with all the orography of the environment and we adapted it to drone flights, all the magic of crossings, disappearances, non-existent elements such as swarms of moths, seagulls or hundreds of fish... For T2, the greatest challenge is the creation of a complete universe that is The Abyss. We have filmed a character on a chroma set where there was nothing (only dirt floor and green walls) and we have had to create a complete apocalyptic environment with various scenarios.”

Claves de la T2 de Paraíso
