TCC has 40 studios equipped mostly with Calrec consoles. Now, you've just installed five new consoles.

Calrec on TTC

Television Technical Center Ostankino (TTC), one of the largest production complexes in Russia, has installed five new consoles Calrec, now reaching thirty-three tables from this manufacturer installed.

These studios are usually used by channels such as Channel One, Technostyle and NTV Plus.

Romano Katrovsky, sound specialist at OKNO-TV, the Russian systems integrator that supplied and installed the consoles, acknowledges that they recommend installing Calrec since "it is a manufacturer known for its reliability and redundancy of the operating system. These consoles give TTC great flexibility to accommodate any number of channels with their respective needs for both studio recordings and live production, all in 5.1."

TTC has installed Apollo consoles in eight of its studios, along with as many Artemis consoles that are used for tasks such as mixing a band or performing live.

Katrovsky points out that at TTC "Apollo and Artemis sit on a Hydra2 network and Calrec's Hydra Patchbay system. This allows TTC to share signal paths without having to use boxes with physical inputs or outputs."

Michael Reddick, European sales manager for Calrec Audio, highlights that "TCC has more than 40 studios. Among those equipped with Calrec technology, Studio 1 stands out, which is the largest studio in the TTC complex with 1,000 square meters."
