Tedial will unveil at NAB 2016, Version Factory, a new workflow concept for media
Tedial Version Factory is based on a single efficient and cost-effective workflow approach that supports millions of input and output configurations that can be managed by a single operator from a single screen.
At the annual industry event in Las Vegas, NAB 2016, Tedial will present Version Factory, an entire “media factory” workflow and will present the possibilities now offered by the latest version of Evolution BPM, the newly released Evolution BPM engine, its powerful engine for developing a workflow for Business Process Management.
Jay Batista, Tedial's director of operations for North America, emphasizes that "since 2001, Tedial has been a truly visionary company in the industry, providing the most advanced MAM and IT solutions to broadcasters and media companies in all corners of the world. Last year it launched Tedial Evolution at NAB, which has taken media management to a completely new level and has already received several industry awards. This year we intend to exceed all expectations with Version Factory and Evolution BPM. Both are “light years ahead of traditional workflow solutions and provide our customers with a clear path to efficiency and profitability.”
Tedial Version Factory was born after more than fifteen years of innovation by the Andalusian company. Its approach is based on a single efficient and profitable workflow that supports millions of input and output configurations that can be managed by a single operator from a single screen.
Designed as a true interface between rights management, traffic, work orders for automated operations, it takes full advantage of powerful engines for transcoding, QA, DRM, CDN… employing SMPTE standards designed for future-proof “N in to N out” operations while providing maximum flexibility and scalability for OTT/VOD platforms, network operations and media companies that base their business on all distribution formats.
Evolution BPM
Recognizing the need for a truly scalable media-centric workflow engine, Tedial will present at NAB 2016, Evolution BPM, a solution based on speed and flexibility in BPMN 2.0 business process management.
Aware that broadcasters and media companies handle an increasing number of workflows per day, hour or second, Tedial has worked in recent years to develop an engine capable of processing media 17 times faster than other proposals currently on the market, reaching 50,000 workflows in just 2.9 minutes on a medium-sized platform.
