France 24 confirms its intention to launch a channel in Spanish
France 24 will broadcast six hours of daily programming in Spanish, which will be completed with the network's French programs.
As already mentioned Panorama Audiovisual In June 2013, the international public channel France 24 prepares to launch a Spanish version. After its versions in French, English and Arabic, it is now the turn of a language spoken by some 500 million people around the world.
The official announcement was made public by France Médias Monde coinciding with the visit of the French president, François Hollande, to Argentina.
This is one of Marie-Christine Saragosse's most ambitious projects after taking over the direction of France Médias Monde. The group currently produces Radio France International (RFI), France 24 (in its different versions) and Monte Carlo Doualiya radio.
France 24 will broadcast six hours of daily programming in Spanish, which will be completed with the network's French programs.
The editorial content in Spanish will offer the French view of international news, reserving an important place for regional issues.
The Spanish version of France 24 will have a newsroom established in Latin America and made up of a multinational team, with the support of a vast network of correspondents spread across the continent.
