The Colombian channel Win Sports installs Dalet's MAM
Dalet's solution will allow integrated management of workflows in program preparation, production and archiving.
Win Sports, the Colombian sports channel owned by DirectTV and the RCN Group, has installed the platform for Media Asset Management (MAM) Dalet Galaxy. The solution of The valley will allow them integrated management of workflows in program preparation, production and archiving.
Julien Decaix, CEO of Dalet Americas, maintains that "we deployed this project in less than four months. Dalet Galaxy MAM automated all of Win Sports' various workflows in order to produce content and prepare programs in an increasing number of formats while giving them a series of content management tools updating their production line for many years."
Dalet Galaxy connects seamlessly with Avid Media Composer editors through the Dalet Xtend module. Dalet Galaxy also supports Win Sports' production of large-format promotions and programs produced from its studios to broadcast content over cable networks.
Dalet Brio, which is managed by Dalet's Galaxy MAM, is used to digitize legacy content onto Betacam, VHS and a variety of DVDs. WebSpace Dalet and media clients allow you to log and add metadata to all incoming and newly digitized material, further improving the ability to search and reuse content.
