WeLab organizes the first presentation in Spain of the new Panasonic Varicam LT

Panasonic's new baby, the Varicam LT, can be seen for the first time in Spain in a day that will take place on May 12 with the participation of photo director Tommie Ferreras (AEC).

Next Thursday, May 12 WeLab, in collaboration with Panasonic and Meditel, will present for the first time in Spain the new youngest of Panasonic, the Varicam LT.

This camera promises to become a revolution in the professional recording scene. With a light and compact camera body it offers similar and even better image qualities than the Varicam35 sister. With a super 35mm sensor it has a wide dynamic range, an extensive color gamut and high sensitivity for 4K and UHD recordings. In addition, it offers dual native ISO at 800 and 5000, the latter for recording in very low light situations.

Internal color grading, EF Mount, 4G connection and WIFI for instant sending of material and many more are the new features that will be presented next Thursday, May 12, by photo director Tommie Ferreras (AEC).

All these features make the Varicam LT an extraordinary piece of equipment for live productions, documentaries and especially television and film series, representing a real, cheaper and more affordable alternative to the ARRI world, according to Panasonic.

The new Varicam LT is already being used in the recording of internationally successful series such as Orange is the new black y Masters of none the latter famous for its creators' decision not to use additional lighting in the nighttime settings.

Those attending the presentation day that will take place at the WeLab facilities will have the opportunity to attend a live recording and analysis of material with the Varicam LT. High quality material shot with the camera will be projected and it will be possible to test and operate the camera on different supports (tripods, gymbals, camera on the shoulder,...).
