WeLab organizes a masterclass on HDR, LUTs and color space

In collaboration with Sony and Ceproma this masterclass will take place in Madrid on October 4.

Next Tuesday, October 4 WeLab will organize at its headquarters in Madrid (Albasanz, 59), in collaboration with Sony y Ceproma, a free masterclass aimed at filmmakers, film technicians, producers or aspiring colorists or editors in which aspects related to HDR, LUTs and color space will be analyzed.

Pablo García Soriano C.S.I. (Colorist Society International), colorist and 4K/HDR workflow specialist at Sony's Digital Motion Picture Center at Pinewood Studios in London will be leading this masterclass.

García Soriano, who has worked on the finishing of films and series such as London Fields, Night at the Museum: The Faron's Secret, My Other Self, Honor o Fleming, among others, will guide attendees in the complex world of color so that all attendees can achieve a broad knowledge of current and future technologies and come to know what exactly HDR is and how it changes our way of producing and making films and video.
